We are one of seven property developers that have come together to establish a new seal of quality: Trygg BRF – which means Secure Tenant-Owner Housing Cooperative. Our aim is to make it easier for you to make a sound, well-informed buying decision based on relevant information. In simple terms, the new seal enables you to compare important key figures between different cooperatives. That way, you know exactly what to expect in your new home and your new cooperative. The guidelines are similar to the ones used today, but we are now making them stricter. After all, a smooth transaction benefits you, the property developers and the wider community – and that can only be a good thing.
The seal of quality is based on three areas
Economy
This aspect includes guidelines and key figures that have to be accounted for, making it easier for you to compare different housing cooperatives. It also provides insight into the cooperative’s future finances.
Long-term approach
Our homes should be around for a long time, and there must be a plan in place for this. We cover this under this heading, with guidelines for managing maintenance plans and board matters.
Security
Security encompasses guidelines related to contracts, repurchasing, guarantees and similar matters. This is important both to the individual, and to the cooperative’s financial situation generally.
